EASTPAK x HOUSE OF HACKNEY

“This time, Eastpak has joined forces with the London fabric designers, House of Hackney to produce a series of progressive and contemporary classics using exclusive fabrics that have been designed and made entirely in England. Both the main collection and its limited edition spin-offs add a unique twist to traditional forms and patterns.”

“An intricate geometric print that conjures up a sense of traditional Eastern design, Mey Meh was inspired by the pattern of a 17th century woven rug discovered in Liberty’s oriental rug department. This traditional print features a rich and warm colour palette typical of the dyes used by the artisans who have created these hand-woven carpets for generations. Each bag is strictly limited to 750 pieces worldwide, and is 100% made in England from finest English velvet, finished with solid or printed leather details.”

“The Palmeral print pays homage to Loddiges, one of the world’s largest palm houses based in Hackney during the Georgian period. A Mecca for tropical plants, it was the original inspiration for many of the species at Kew Gardens today. Each bag is strictly limited to 750 pieces worldwide, and is 100% made in England from finest English velvet, finished with solid or printed leather details.”
